New Costs For California Taxpayers?

The Bond Issues (1A – 1E) total about $37.3B with annual payments of about $2.45B per year. My calculator doesn’t allow such large numbers so I can’t calculate the grand total.

Sutter County Auditor-Controller “Suing Many”

It is time for this issue to be closed and the County to pay for Mr. Stark’s legal fees. I know that this would be a tough pill to swallow on the heals of losing the Sikh Temple dispute but while the Board of Supervisors is in the contrition mode this would be a good time to wipe the slate clean and move forward.

Change Of Pace Opinion

Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying that the only good editorial or opinion piece is one that makes me look good or agrees with my opinion. Such an idea is ridiculous. In fact, I believe that if I can keep 20% of the electorate happy with me over the next four years then I will be a reasonable success. I am a realist.

The work that the City and City Council does should primarily be news stories. The fact that no news story was written, only an opinion piece, was the issue since the Managing Editor stated that she was responsible for reporting the news.
