Ethanol = Food Shortage?

The Elite 535 have decided that we must have ethanol. They even subsidize the stuff. But they never thought about the real world impact We’re witnessing a structural change in world food markets, and the problem needs to be addressed as such. In January 2007 we could buy gasoline at the pump for about $2.39. Today the price is about $3.89 $3.93. The average price of corn in 2006 was $3.04 per bushel. Today the price is over $5.90.
